Rim Adapter

So im kind of tired of finding affordable rims for porsches, and im thinking about buying one of those wheel bolt pattern adapters from ebay. Any issues, or concerns?

yeah a little problem... don't take this in a bad way, but just take off your Porsche badges while at your at it please...

IF you do it, you will have tons of fun finding the right offsets for your wheels, and not to mention the huge added spindle stress you will be adding to your car. The only time I have heard of using pattern adapters are when VAG guys will use them to put Porsche rims on their cars... not for the the fact they want to save a few bucks...

Exactly, you are massively increasing stress on the hub, while essentially adding a thick spacer. You would need to get the correct offset specs for the wheel sizes you want to run, then factor in the thickness of the spacer. Get out your slide rule and start doing the math. You will also have 10 lugs per wheel now!

Porsche purposefully runs a very uncommon 5x130 bolt pattern for exactly this reason- they don't want you putting cheap, made in Taiwan wheels on their German engineered piece of machinery.

If you don't want to purchase quality wheels that fit right, keep your stockers.

It is only going to be expensive if you are going up in size. and even then it does not have to be super expensive. wWheels or search ebay. there are several manufactures that makes quality wheels cheaper.
