I need an Opinion on these Rotors & Pads
 

2000 Triptronic Black 60K

Got car at 50k enjoyed it very much getting alot of squeaks out of the rear brakes the pads look worn. I dont want to have to buy new sensors if I can avoid it so Im going to go ahead and replace the rear rotors and pads. Found these on Ebay what do you guys think? Would like to keep it under $500 shipping included for front and rear rotors and pads if anyone has any suggestion. :cheers:

Rotors that are drilled after they are cast tend to crack. I've been told that stock Porsche rotors with holes are cast that way, not drilled later.

We routinely flunk cars with cracks between the holes in rotors during tech inspections at our PCA DE events. They are not hard to see.

Modern pads IMO do not require drilled rotors.

OEM, pads, rotors, sensors from here ( http://e-partssales.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=P&Category_Cod e=98625brakes ) are about $670+shipping.

The nice thing about OEM is that you don't have to worry about inferior quality (ie made in China crap and have no warranty) and should mount with no issues.

No need to replace sensors if you are willing to look after the pads yourself (save some $$ ;) ).

Also, how many miles are on the rotors? unless they are too thin (forget the measurement) there shouldn't be a need to replace them.
