Opinion on these 19" wheels

Thank you all for the great feedback on how all of you that have 19" wheels like them and how they don't create a clearance problem in terms of rubbing and wearing through the plastic wheel well liner. Now, which wheels to buy?

I'm looking at these OZ Botticelli III wheels. What do you think? Does anyone have any suggestions for some high quality Black wheels?

Beautiful wheels, but I have two issues with them:

1. They are heavy. They weigh approximately 4-5 lbs./wheel more than say the BBS wheels I'm considering. Unsprung weight is very important in car performance.

2. I'm not sure what year your car is, but I know that Porsche does not recommend using wheels bigger than 18" for 02 and older. Something to do with structural integrity of the car's welds.

Other than that, nice wheels.

OZ superleggeras are smoking!!!!!!. Porsche doesnt recomend alot of things for alot of their cars...but we doi it anyway. there are no clearance problems as weve discussed before. as far as unsprung weight, only about 5% of us are AX'ing our cars, so if its for looks, who cares. Get what you like.

Actually, I think it's only the '97s that shouldn't use 19s, hence my signature line. Porsche beefed up the rear suspension for the later models.

A company called EuroTech. Not the lightest, but look great, and nice finish. Customer service top notch too. You can find them on EBAY.

Thanks. I'm not that concerned about lightness as these would be for show. But I am concerned with quality so they don't crack or bend on these bumpy L.I. roads. I'll keep my 18" Porsche wheels for DE events and put a set of good track tires on them. And use the 19" wheel for weekend drives and CapTree meets.
