rear diffuser

so i finally decided to try to put on my rear diffusers that have been sitting around in my garage this weekend.

Problem was my Custom Exhaust was in the way so i had to do some sanding and some cutting.

I got it to fit pretty well now i guess, but the diffuser (made out of fiberglass) is still kind of touching my mufflers. Will it burn?? melt?? or is it heat resistant

It will burn without some heat shield or such. Ever see a Corvette go up in flames? Quite entertaining.

That's funny, last night as I turned out onto a main road, there was a vette just roasting by itself. No other cars around, just the vette and a pissed off looking guy. I stopped and asked him if he needed me to call anyone and he said he had already called the fire department. He was mad but, told me this is the second one he's owned that burned. After talking to him I may have converted him into a Boxster owner.

Anyway, yes fiberglass will burn.
