Close call. . . sorta

Today spent some quality time working on the Boxster.

Installed the Mantis bar, and the extra (probably un-necessary) Kirk bars. I even cut up and used a hockey puck to jack up the car (go Sharks!).

And changed wheels to the 17s I just picked up. with weird tire sizes (I'll save that for another thread!)

on to the rookie move/close call . . .

I have everything buttoned up, torqued down, cleaned up etc. when I can't find the key for the locking lug nut!!!

Checked everywhere, still nothing. Until I walked the two blocks or so that I took the test drive on. Found it in the middle of the intersection where I took a u-turn.

I left the key in one of the locking lug nuts and it must have fallen off when I turned.

Whew!!!

Jason
