Possible to de-badge batwing?

I want to remove the Boxster S off the batwing. Is it possible to remove with a hair dryer?

I suspect you can remove it the same way you would the badge on trunk lid. Use dental floss or fishing line and saw thru the adhesive between the emblem and the batwing. Then clean of residue left behind w/ either WD-40 or Goo-B-Gone. Might help to quickly (w/ a low heat setting) warm it up w/ a hair dryer or better yet heat gun. Good luck :)

I don't think you can remove it, as I'm pretty sure it is molded with the batwing. You can, however, just buy a new one without the logo. It's only like $8 bucks. Part number 15: http://www.pelicanparts.com/PartsLookup/HTML/986_USA_KATALOG/809-15-Frame3.htm

Boxstaboy is correct. Then you have the original when you go to sell your car.

They come in plain and with 2 or 4 switch holes.
