Oil Filter Wrench
 

Porsche Oil Filter Wrench(or something similar that WILL work)

Is this a part that can be found at the local Pepboys/Autozone type shops or is this something that has to be ordered?

I bought one through Pelican Parts while ordering other stuff.

However, several have found the right thing at Autozone/Advance Auto stores. It is a 74mm, 14 flute filter wrench. Used on BMWs and Mercedes as well, so it should be quite easy to find at a good auto parts store.

do you remember the specific name of the one you got at auto zone?

I ordered mine online for $4. I think Blinkwatt posted the link a while back. Try a search. Autozone was a waste of time for me. I tried 3 different stores none had the wrench.

Company is "OEM"
Wrench is called "Oil Filter "B" Cap Wrench" next to that is a lil number 25401
This wrench fits on 3/8" rachet
