Door lock on 1998 Boxster
 

The double lock is engaged on my 1998 Porsche Boxster and I cannot close the drivers door. I have tried to disengage the lock with the key, remote entry and the switch on te dash, but nothing will disengage it. Does anyone know how to manually disengage the lock?

You will probably have to remove the door panel as I suspect one of the wire stringers has detached or a plastic clip on the latch broke off (in which case you'll need to replace it). Be sure to have your Radio code, disconnect the battery, and wait for 5 min. to be certain the side airbag is deactivated before starting.
