Selling wheels with or without tires?

I have the original 'turbo' style rims on my 01 S and just put brand new Pilots on less than 500 miles ago. I want to change the rims soon. Would it be better to sell them with the tires on or just the rims?

Thanks,

Gary

Sell the wheels separately.

You should plan to re-use the Pilots on your new wheels. You won't get anywhere near your money back selling the used tires, so you'd have a net loss having to buy new ones for your new wheels.

Also, if you plan to ship the wheels, its a lot cheaper to ship just wheel than w + t.

Thanks...any idea what a set of original wheel rims would fetch? There's only 16,000 miles on them and they are perfect...no scuffs or anything. Problem is they are a little dated so I don't know if there is even a market for them?

I think it could range from $400-800 on eBay. You could also try Craig's List. It'd be nice to get a local buyer so you don't have worry about shipping.

They are 18" wheels...so I guess 18 x 8 and 18 x 10?

So where in LA would I go to get new rims? I see there is a place in Culver City called Wheel Enhancement...seems like they have a huge selection.

I've heard good things about them... but they're authentic which = expensive.
Save some bucks and try www.wheeldynamics.com.
