Ok this is better... $895+tax

That price is for a new sewn in plastic window for my top. My canvas is in very very good condition I was told so all I would need is new plastic sewn in. The place (Premiere Tops of San Jose) actually does the top replacements FOR Steven's Creek Porsche! So I know the work will be good. Now a whole new glass top from them is $1995+tax, which is still a lot, but I guess it's better than $3700 from the dealer! Can you believe the markup?!?!? And they don't even do the work!!!!

You can buy a whole new top for $500......

Man I hate when places jack up prices for no good reason. Get written quotes from reputable top installers around town, see who wants to make the best deal for you.

Good Luck!

New glass top & install = $1200

I bought a Robbins canvas top w/heated glass window on fleabay for $700 and paid $500 to have it installed. From what I have seen on the internet this is average in most parts of the country. After a year I have had no problems and anticipate none.

A few years ago I had my plastic window replaced. Cost me around $630 installed. I would check around, because $800 seems a bit steep.
