Peplacing Locking Lever On Windstop

I broke one of the locking levers on my windstop. I bought the replacement part, but I need to determine the best way to remove a piece of the old locking clip from the windstop. Here's a picture:

Should I drill it out, or is there some better way to remove it?

Thanks

Kevin,

Same thing happened to me when I replaced mine.

If I remember correctly, I found an old screw in my tool box, screwed it into the piece ( I think you are talking about the part with the hole in it ) and then used a pliers to pull it out.

Hope that helps !

Nick
