Porsche Nav CDs

Can anyone tell me what my options are to update the nav data in my nav system? I have a 2000 Boxster S with the Porsche nav system and (I assume) nav CDs from 2000. Is there a website where I could download new data and burn my own CDs, or do I have to go to the OEM software provider?

Thanks,

CW

I remember I read some where that the POrsche Nav system is not the bext and has some problems specially when it comes to updating. I saw some nav cd's on ebay few weeks ago.

Can't be certain for the US, but in the UK the last updates for PCM1 both maps and software were in 2001. No longer supported by Porsche.

When PCM3 comes out, i guess the same will be true for PCM2, which really brings into question the trade in value of such systems.

This, and the fact that PCM can't be transfered between cars, was the main reason i chose a PDA based system.
