Please help with DEMO car pricing

Hello,
The Wife wants a new car and we went today to drive the cayman S. Well it looks like she will be getting a cayman S but I need help with the pricing.

What is this car worth:
2008 DEMO cayman S with 443 miles.
Special order artic silver metallic paint
Sport chrono package
preferred package with TIPRONIC
xenon, heated seats, memory electric seats, Bose radio, dual climate control, self dim mirrors, colored wheel caps, cd changer, floor mats.

MSRP 69,605

What should I offer for this DEMO?

Thanks for the help,
James

you might find some insights at www.caymanclub.net

They have a sales/prices forum.

I got 11% off my LE w/o even breaking a sweat (thought they wouldn't deal on such a low serial #), so you should be able to get another couple of % off with some strong negotiating. The demo part is interesting. It's not many miles, so they may not budge much. If it had a couple 1000 miles on it you would have a stronger position.

Those are nice options you listed. Your wifey is lucky. Good luck with your negotiations.

Before you make an offer, get the invoice price for that car with the options that are on it. You can get the invoice price at www.edmunds.com

Since it's a demo, it will have an in-service date. That is the date the car was put into service by the dealership. But more importantly, that is the day the clock on the warranty started. If it was only a few weeks ago, no biggie, but if it was months ago, that is something you need to consider in the negotiations.

Do your homework! From what I have seen there are very good deal for Caymans, they seem to discount more than Boxsters. There are also alot of low mileage used ones on the market. Good advice to check out the Cayman boards.
