CPO and Keys
Someone I work with bought a certified pre-owned Boxster on Saturday. They gave him one key and no owner's manual. Now they want to charge him $380 for a second key - which I gather is the going rate. He hasn't asked about the owner's manual, but I understand they are pricey too.
Does anyone know if the CPO inspection covers items like spare keys and manuals? I was thinking of recommending that he contact PCNA if the dealer didn't relent and give him the key. I want to give him as much ammunition as possible to deal with the dealer.
BTW - he bought a 2004 Arctic Silver with black interior. It's going to be like having my car's younger brother in the parking lot. The glass rear window is nice. It appears larger than the ones offered on the after-market tops.
