I agree with you. Leave it alone. It will look great. Good job on your order.

+1 for leaving it alone.
post up some pics of the ride so we can see what ure talking about.
but the rollbar can be taken off easily, you dont need a body shop to take it off for you, and if you're not in a hurry you can take your time and remove the padding as well...

Thanks again...
I'm just throwing the question out there to see what your opinions are regarding the roll bar.

Haven't received the car yet. Its on order and due to arrive next month. Can't wait. just planning ahead of time. I tried to find some pictures of painted Carrera S wheels (other than black) and its tough to find. With the meteor grey ...I thought 'graphite' looking Carrera S wheels would look killer...

specs as follows..

Meteor Grey
Blck top
Black Full leather interior
19" Carrera S Wheel
Wheel Caps with Crest
Power Seat Package
Smooth leather sport steering wheel
Heated Seats
Floor Mats
Winstop/Deflector
Roll Bar Painted Exterior Color
Exterior Package Exterior Color (Side vents and Front Vents)
Bose Surround
Bi-Xenon Lights

GCB, very nice build! You will love the painted roll bar option.

Meteor Grey is a very nice color. If I were ordering a new Boxster tomorrow, that would probably be my color choice.

Congrats on the new car.

The top has to be partially removed to get the roll bar out? Why is that? Only 4 bolts hold it in. Any they're on the floorpan. I had originally thought about painting my roll bar, but then was leaning towards powder coating it, but ulitmately I've decided to have it chrome plated. I'm still pricing this option and if it proves to be too expensive, then I'll have it ceramic coated. I've had several headers and headpipes from cars, motorcycles and quads ceramic coated and depending on the shop, it can sure look like chrome....or polished aluminum.
