Cayman spoiler manufactured by Porsche?

I'm interested in this spoiler, but in a couple previous threads it was noted that some people had bad fitment problems with these and/or had them flying off their car on the freeway. Do Porsche make a cayman-style spoiler like this that we can put on a 986? |
I wouldn't recommend it
Well, I've had this on my car for about a year now. It has a slight hairline crack on the base where it mounts. I really love the look, but I'd wait for the quality control to come up on it. It has not fallen off...yet. I regularly drive way way over the speed limit and the crack has not gotten any larger. Just my two cents..

When I got mine, it cracked in the first couple of days. The manufacturer had no trouble with me sending it back for a repair. I believe he beefed up the mounting point. It's been on the car now almost a year with no problems. I'm happy with the product.

Mine cracked after several months. There is another spoiler out there that looks more like the cayman one but is allot more expensive. But it wont break. It's made by Zeintop. Check it out. It's a 2 piece kit with much better mounting points.
http://www.zeintec-usa.com/Zeinwing.htm I've seen it some place on sale for $699.00 but currently it goes for $800.00! http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...h/image001.jpg |
