Measurements for "Boxster S" logo on 987?
 

I ordered my Guards Red 987 S with the emblem deleted and bought the Black ones to install; however, I want to get the exact measurements of where it should be placed - anyone have them? Or maybe someone can point me to a drawing, etc. that I can use.

Big help - thanks! The dealer offered to install it but I want it perfect so I will do it myself. And I assume that it will be the same for the 987 as it is on the 986; however, if someone disagrees please chime in.

So your saying you ordered the car without the logo on the truck and now you are going to put it on yourself because you wanted all black? Why couldn't the dealership just have the factory use an all black one? I'm sure it's probably a computerized robot arm that puts it on. Can't get any more perfect than that. :confused:

If I could have ordered it with a Black emblem I would have...not an option. The only choices I had were no emblem or the stock one, which is titanium. I agree with you though that the process is most likely automated at the factory.

By the way, I also want my side vents to be Black so I will have to buy Black one, or have them painted since I could not order it the way I wanted.
