Is it the radar detector in next to your mirror?
|
Whats the sticker above your PCA decal on the lower left corner of the windshield for?
|
yes yes its the litronics guys :)
the sticker above the PCA logo is police support decal (hopefully it MAY get me out of something that i shouldn't have done in the first place) and the side markers...im still not sure if i want to put the smoked ones on there or not, but i probably will... |
It looks great! :D
How did you do the side markers? Did you use touchup paint? |
New mod = RMS Leak? (Oh, wait ...that's my car).
Your car looks equally good in the fall leaves & the winter snow. The painted side markers look good, but now that you put on litronics, you can consider matching the glass color with the side markers. I picked mine up from Sunset (in FL) for $29 for the pair. |
wow.
car is looking great. those lits look so much better than that funky silver thing you had going on before. and the car actually looks like you lowered it again! they really did settle in nicely. what springs again? you going to try and ebay the old lights? was that silver bit removable at all? |

im not gonna sell the stock lights, although the orange does come off, but if i decide to sell the car down the line, ill sell the litronics separately and put the stock ones back on. |
I have to say that your car is really starting to grow on me. Nice job.
|
Have you considered a three spoke or RUF steering wheel?
I'm thinking of adding carbon fiber door pocket lid covers. I need to take some pics. I added an Aluma look center console, carbon shift knob, alum pedals. Still need to add the alum e-brake. |

Did you get the update kit part # 000.044.900.41 ? If so, whats in the kit besides the headlights?
Are wiring changes like a special harness needed? |
you don't need anything, just slide your stock ones out and slide these in.
then just make sure they are aimed right, thats mentioned in your user manual for the car |
Car looks fantastic mate.
Rear diffuser would set the rear off nicely!! |
they look great dj, I vote on getting the clear markers....I think the silver ones pop out at you a bit too much now....

What do you mean? You can remove the orange from your headlights? How? Is there a DIY post on this? I've replaced the side markers, added clear taillights, and a smoked third brake light. The only amber left on the car is on my headlights. I'd buy clear ones but I just can't afford it right now. |

its just a few light coats of paint, and protective clear over it. |

http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=178 This hack is only for litronics, 996 or 2003 Boxster 'clear' lights, which have clear triangles. If you have lights with the amber on the headlight cover then this hack is not for you as you cannot remove the amber. Only on the clear lights with an internal amber lense.
