Pic Request: 996T wheels on 986

I know this has been covered and everyone swears that the 18x11 will not fit the rear, but does anyone actually have a pic?

I've seen some 18x10's that don't look 100% flush to me. I found a guy willing to let me test fit them on my 2002 base, but I was just curious if anyone could save me the trouble with a pic.

If you're just going to tell me that they won't fit, there is no need to post. If the offset is low enough, the wheel will fit, just may stick out super far.

Also, I am not lowered yet.

Are you looking to buy some 996 rims or are you just trying to achieve a flush look?

No need to have a pic,I tried it myself. Didn't work,didn't clear the rear shock. I would have had to use 15mm spacers.

Yep just from what I saw when I test fitted them they looked weird. Wheels poked out about .5" too far.

I think you can use the front set though. They should be,I'm not 100% sure, lightweight and VERY expensive wheels.

I want the flush look. I found some 996t wheels for sale locally, and was going to give it a try.

I think my idea of "flush" may be a little more extreme than most people's. I think djlomas wheels are even a little sunken in the rear.
