new ride - i think i have a problem

I just bought my first porsche yesterday!!! A 2004 boxster. The spoiler is up all the time. Is this right? I thought that it was supposed to come up when you went a certain speed and go down when you slowed down. Can someone answer this question?

There is a switch in the driver's footwell area near the fuse cover that manually lowers and raises the spoiler. Try lowering it with the switch, grab a passenger to look and hit the highway to see if it goes up and down by itself. If not, maybe a fuse?

Also, the speeds are up at 75mph, and down at 50mph.

Thank you! I found the switch, and it lowered. I'll try it on the highway to see if it goes up & down by itself.

well you wont be able to see it yourself, but if you have someone in the car that can look out the window, or follow you in another car, or just simply look at a reflection off another car.
good luck, im sure it works

Some people hit the switch with their foot. Maybe that is why yours was up.

Also if someone put the spoiler up with the switch, then it stays up unless the car goes over 75 mph and when it does, it comes down by itself when the car slows down.

So what you are saying TP is that John had not been speeding in his car :D
