boxster S True performance Specs

So Im curious what are the performance specs of a 986 S stock with 6spd? I mean like the 0-60 and 0-1/4mile time.

I tested mine out the other day and got 5.4 sec with a Gtech.

I know we dont have american cars and our cars are not dragsters because they are meant for taking corners. Im just curious cuz alot of sources have different times. I have seen 0-60 5.3, 5.5,5,7,5.9. and even 6.With quarters as high as 14.5.

What have you guys got with your cars? I feel the published times are not really reliable.

Also be cognizant of some of the many variables that go into a test like that:

Ambient air temp - cold, hot
Humidity
Pavement temp - cold, warm, hot
Pavement condition - new, old, cured, broken, oily/slick etc
Tires : brand/composition and temperature
Driver experience (the largest variable)
manual vs tip
Existing clutch wear
Launch technique (and related, shift points)

I don't think seeing a .5 sec difference among published times is uncommon based upon these many variables. It has been my experience that Porsche reported times are conservative vs what car magazines are able to get in their tests.

Also, rememer the car has many versions with various hp and weight figures over the years which would affect the 0-60 and top speed. If memory serves me correctly a 2000-2002 S has 250hp, 2003-2004 258hp, 2004 anniversary 264hp, 2005-2006 280 hp, and 2007+ has 295. Now they have the new RS version with 303 hp even. The top speed ranges from 162 mph to 170 mph for that new RS.

Is that all she had, or is that just where you backed off?
