2002 BOXSTER 2.7 Major Service

Hello everyone,

I have booked my boxster to get a major service done (80,000km)

They have informed me that the cost of this will be between 1000 - 1200 euro!!!

I have also been quoted 150 euro for a new remote unit as mine has stopped working for some reason and cannot be fixed or reprogrammed!!!

Does anyone know or have a list of the things they will do for this service?? As it seems VERY VERY expensive.

I would talk more with the Service department but their English skill are somewhat low.....

When I called a dealer in Austria they also quoted around 1000 euro without any surprises turning up.

Also, if alyone has the details, I do not have the OBC but am aware that every boxster DOES have this as standard. How do you turn the outside temperature gauge on????? If possible....
