Alarm Question

My 99' did not come with an alarm. Does the infrared disabler still work? Shall I use my 'lil red clip? Heck, I don't even have remote lock... please advse And, oh, I see no red blinking anywhere within the car inferring an alarm.

The remote lock was an option, but the car still has the immobilizer. Which is where each key has a small chip, that the car must read or else the car will not start and immobilize itself. It also obviously has door locks.
I don't think the red clip will do anything, but I am not sure. If there is no red light on the dash you probably don't have the alarm option. You can always test it by putting your red clip on and locking the car then waving your hand in front of the sensors.

Since you do not have the alarm there is no interior motion detector and the red clip will do nothing except prevent the top from operating.

You can still use the red clip to deter Porsche savvy thieves.
