Water at my feet?
I spent some time this weekend washing the Boxster. After I was done I noticed that the driver side carpet was wet, and when I moved the car for the first time, some water dripped on top of my foot.. I didn't feel any water on the passenger side, or under / behind the seats.
Car stats are: 2000 986s with 64K on the clock. Has anyone else had this problem, and what was the solution? Thanks, Eric |

search on here for drain and theres a lot of info. hope that helps if enough water gets to damage the unit under the drivers seat, your F*cked, and it costs a lot of $$ to get that repaired. |
I've gotten water in the door jam while washing the car but it has never gotten past the rubber seals. You could check there to make sure the seals are keeping water out. Also where was the water? Could it have leaked down from in between the top and A-pillar. Although, it is probably just the drains.

The water was far up in the driver side way up by the pedals. I am assuming that there is no way it dripped down the top seal, or past the door seals, but I am going to double check tonight.
