Porsche...Porsche...Porsche...

Well, my dad seems to think he needs more cars so, he bought 2 additional Porsche's to add to the 4 he has already. I'm sure everyone's itchin to make a ****ty comment but, he worked all his life and made himself what he is today so, **** it he likes cars.

1969 Porsche 912 Targa soft window. The soft window is very rare and will only increase in value. His is British racing green which I find kind of funny. The shop I work at is repainting the car to the factory shade of green. It's a very clean car and only has 55K original miles and is 1 owner.

It looks identical to this:

1996 Porsche 993 Turbo. A sought after car as it's the last of the air cooled 911. IMO, the best looking 911 ever. Very clean, rare color, low mileage (9K), 1 owner car that will also increase in value. See a theme now?;)

What a great day he must have had.

he will also be adding these to the collection.

To answer the inevitable question, he's a petroleum engineer.

Good for Dad! I'm surprised to hear that you think people on this forum would be looking to make s***ty comments. I highly doubt it. This is a forum of car people. Many of us have a lot more than one car toy. If they're your passion and you have the means, why not?

He's made a couple of great choices there from the investment/desirability perspective.

May he enjoy them in good health!

The 993 Turbo is very-very nice. Great color combo. The 356 is also very beautiful.

My dad has always wanted a soft window targa. Maybe I'll buy him one someday soon.

petroleum engineer? I hope his work give him free gas ;)

Seriously, can you list out his entire collection (all cars) and post pictures of all the cool ones? That is one sweet porsche collection, but it still needs a boxster.

If he already has 6, what is 1 more, right?
