				Hello Everybody!

			Hi Everyone,
Just thought I'd introduce myself...

I recently bought a 05 987 Base Tiptronic in Arctic Silver.

It's my 1st P-car & 1st convertible & I'm still getting used it.

Spec?

Tiptronic, Litronics (were these an option or stock?), Bose, full leather seats, sports chrono, & the smallest rims I've ever seen on a 987!

It's a base model Boxster with very basic spec but even with tiptronic I'm having a blast driving it around!

Here's some pics from the dealer's webpage.

Welcome to the forum, and enjoy your new ride. Litronics are an option as far as I know.

hey, sharp ride....too bad you are in Canda or I would let you buy my old Boxster S rims.....I think shipping to Canada would be suicide!
btw....a quick swap of the orange blinkers will make it look that much better |

			Thanks for your nice comments.
I don't mind admitting that I've had to work hard just to afford my 987 in the 1st place so big rims are a long ways off yet.

I'll have to keep the comfy ride at least until next summer!

Swapping out the orange blinkers is something that I'm thinking of doing in the new year.

Super66 - I love those Cayman grills! Where? & How much?

damn! you're right about them being addictive! Just a few weeks in & I'm planning mods already!

hey vfx, I bought my blinkers and didn't change them right away, I wasn't sure it was necessary.....boy was I wrong, once I swapped them out it made a world of difference for like 30 bucks...

the cayman vents came from bumperplugs.com, Eric does great work...he sends the vents you need and then you send back your old ones....for the cayman vents you need an additional trim piece and it comes out to about $350....the price is on the site,I don't remember all too well....

good luck and enjoy it!

Nice looking car. Welcome to the forum!
I just bought the clear side lights for $29 bucks for a set of two -- Suncoast Porsche in Florida. Popped them in - maybe 10 minutes for the first side & 1 minute for the other side (its really simple once you figure out how to pop the little clamp on/off for the electrical cable).

I used to like my amber, but I can see clearly now.

 Love the Cayman vents.
