Momo Steering Wheel

Has anyone installed a Momo steering wheel on their car? If so would you be so kind as to take a picture and post it. I am interested in the adpater & spacer what they look like. I have a couple of steering wheels and I was thinking of buying the adpater.

thanks

don't have a pic but I had the Monte Carlo on my 944. The metal inner hub is pre drilled to line up with the allen heads that attach the wheel. If you mixed manufacturers the critical issues would be the diameter of the hub and the position of the pre drilled holes.

Wouldn't that delete your airbag?
Also, isn't the steering column a bit large for an aftermarket wheel?
These are just some thinks that come to mind with an aftermarket wheel. I would be interested to see what it looks like if you do it.

Yes, no, and it will look the same as any 996 based cup car...

Pics Anyone

Definitely interested in seeing it from different angles. I got a steering wheel I been meaning to install as well, looks really nice and have been scouring the web trying to see what the hubs look like from the sides and the top once the wheel is installed.

BTW, what do you guys think about the aftermarket steering wheels on the Boxster or any other Porsche for that matter? I personally like a few of the aftermarket designs, like the MOMO Millenium EVO which looks pretty sharp...I just have a hard time visualizing it with our type of vehicle's steering column. Your thoughts?

I'm pretty sure that djomlas has a momo steering wheel. Might want to PM him if he doesn't see the thread.

I have a Prototipo on my '73 911...looks all the part, as that's what Porsche ran on their race cars from the day. Unless you use your Boxster exclusively for track, I wouldn't remove the airbag wheel...why sacrifice safety for looks? The three spoke airbag wheel is very attractive, IMO.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but having a TipS narrows our choices considerably.

I do quite like these RAID aftermarket steering wheels with true paddle shifters for the Tiptronic... and you get to keep your airbag!

Not for the faint of wallet though.
