Why Norwegians Don't Like Golf...

Just got this from my GF -- the video is shot in and around Rauma/Andalsnes where my old ex Guri grew up and now moved back to. I bet she even knows some of the guys in this clip (she used to date those solo climbers before she met boring me).

And yes, if you can't see that this relates to Porsches, then you are even more boring than I. (disclaimer, my GF pilots helicopters and commutes daily on a Triumph sports bike... and my old ex, Guri, she is just pure crazy).

I have been following the sport for a few years now. It is amazing what some are willing to sacrifice to try new adventures. Honestly the only reason I learned/learning how to sky dive was so I could BASE jump. This would be the next in the natural progression.

I have seen a few videos and just recently a movie at the Banff film fest with some of these same guys. Jeb Corliss is now trying to land one of these suits with no chute. Jeb Corliss

Sounds like your Ex and your current is a hell of a lot of fun.

No, they are just plain crazy, both of them. I think I'm gonna pick up knitting or something just to piss them off.

Peer,

I was in Germany taking a tour of the Neuschwanstein Castle and it's located at the base of the Alps. We took tram to the top of the mountains and could look out across the snow covered peaks for as far as the eye could see. The reason there was a tram to the top of the mountain was because of hang-gliders and para-gliders would walk off a 30' ramp at the edge of a cliff. 15-20 minutes later they would be at the bottom of the mountain looking like the size of a flake of pepper!

When I watched those people I thought they were nuts but now I see I was the one that was nuts. Nuts for not letting it all hang out and trying something that would have blown my mind. After seeing that video I've found that there's actually something more thats truly life changing. That is wild!
