Battery cut-off switch?

A friend recently asked me about this sticker which he says was located on the windscreen of a newly arrived 987 at the dealer.

Have any of you ever heard of a battery cut-off switch on the 986 or 987? My assumption is that it's a temporary device used during transport, but I'm wondering if anyone has an real information about it.

I have never heard of a cutoff switch in either.
My best guess, would be that it is a plastic piece that fits in near the battery. Like you see on some smaller electronics where you have to pull the plastic strip out to activate the battery. There wouldn't be a practical applications for anything like this since it is probably temporary.
