Dilemma..A Value Conflict, If You Will
Please study the attached photograph carefully.
Facts:
1) This is not my cat. This is my neighbors cat.
2) He has been there for more than an hour.
3) No amount of yelling or banging on the window will move him.
4) He does this all the time to all of my vehicles.
5) I am the only one home in the neighborhood.
6) I can reliably remove his brains from his head from here, without risk of damaging the car.
Conflicts:
1) I am an alleged animal lover.
2) I cannot get downstairs to hide the body.
3) I am currently not capable of rinsing the skull fragments from the car.
4) It will be loud.
Please assist me in making this important decision. Your input, as always, is much appreciated.

if you spray the cat with spray bottle of water he won't go on the car again.
My old cat would claw up one my car covers, absolutely destroyed it. My neighbohr gave me the tip about the spraying water and he never went near the top again. I think there's also some sort of citrus spray you can get a pet smart that lingers for weeks and they can't stand.

Taser it.
I had a cat do that to my wife's old solara and I bought this goofy device with a motion sensor that would send out high pitched noise that humans and dogs could not hear. It was supposed to drive the cat crazy. I think it worked, the car quit sitting on top of the convertible.

Do you own a BB Gun? If so a low pump, just enough to hit and scare the crap out of it but not harm it in any way. Or just use a water bottle sprayer. I'm glad I have a garage.

I like cats but I wouldn't want mine messing up my top.
My weapon of choice would be a paintball gun. It wouldn't kill it but it wouldn't go anywhere near the car again. Or you could try Sour Apple, it is a pet repellant, that smells awful. Pets avoid it like the plague, but I am not sure if I would rather have a smelly top or a cat on my top. A water gun would work too.

Grizz, you need a good recipe with cat. I'll ask some of my Chef friends.

Also, make sure to get it off of there ASAP. Cats enjoy clawing cloth. Like when they retract and detract there claws. It could be ruining your top.

What the hell is wrong with you?
You're seriously thinking of killing an innocent cat? What you plan on shooting it?
Geez just scare it off somehow.
I hope you were kidding about hurting that cat, if not you're a sicko.

Jacques! Chill, sir! I'm kidding! I'm only kidding! I don't kill animals. I even refuse to hunt. In fact, I'm in the process, right now, of rescuing an abused Pekingese, seized from a puppy mill in Texas. I just thought the cat on the Box could make for an entertaining thread. Whew!
