Feedback on wheel upgrade

Hi Guys,

I am still shopping for wheels...I am considering to put OEM/BBS 18” Porsche Carrera wheels with the following specs for my '01 Boxster:

Front: 8JX18, offset: 57 mm. Tire size: 235/40ZR18.

Rear: 10JX18, offset: 58 mm. Tire size: 265/40ZR18.

Since the wheel offset recommended by Porsche (for 8x18, 10x18 wheels) is ET 50mm (for front) and ET 47mm (for rear), do you think this set-up would work well with 7mm and 11 mm spacers in the front and rear, respectively? Can I expect any negative effects performance-wise?

I am only using the car for spirited street driving (not DEs) during the weekends in nice roads. But I do want the car to have a more aggressive look (which is certaintly not the case with my current 16" standard wheels - although the wheels are nice and lightweight).

Let me know what you think if you get a chance. And as always, thanks very much for your feedback!
