Hmm. I've never even noticed that. I'll have to check tomorrow. It does seem a bit odd, though the cabin is so small that one vent is probably sufficient. I find that I use the heated seats more than the actual heat itself.

I've got a vent on the driver's side as well as the passenger side footwells. Is this something that might be model year specific?

Mine has a floor vent in the drivers side. I've never seen it, but I've felt it.

tombea and Chills, friendly suggestion... put your model and year in your sig, that way we'll know your point of reference.

Thanks Jack, I would do that except that I can't find any place for a regular signature much less with information in it. For the record I have an 02 Boxster S.

After reading the FAQ I see that the admin has to allow sigs. Must be a first...second class thingy.

Up at the top of the screen, if you click on "Quick Links", then about halfway down click "Edit Signature", you don't get a screen that allows you to enter some text for your sig?

I have two floor vents.
