Aluminum vs Stainless Door Sills

Was thinking about getting some door sills and noticed on Ebay that there is a choice between stainless and aluminum. The aluminum ones are much more affordable. Anyone buy the aluminum ones and had a bad experience? I'm tempted to shell out the extra cash and go for the stainless for rust reasons. When it rains and when I wash my car I notice a decent amount of water gathering in the sills.

Thanks

I recently bought some color matched sills, that adhere magnetically for $26. If you want some more information PM me and I can tell you were to find them. There more discreet, but won't show scratches like the metal ones.

You're not going to have rust problems with aluminum for sure. Technically, some stainless steels will rust, but I don't know what stainless they're using.

Aluminum scuffs and scratches very easily, it's a much softer material than stainless. I'd never use aluminum on a door sill.
