i have the 3rd shift knob, and love it.
they all should be a quick swap.

as for the side grilled, pull yours out and spray them, i did it when i first got my car, but then changed back to black. very simple

blkboxster 11-04-2007 10:29 AM

OK, so its 0-0-1

anyone else

I have the second option. So I obviosuly like it and have a carbon fiber theme going.

I have that 3rd aluminum head shifter as well. It is really comfortable, and looks good. I am not sure about the silver vents on a black car, try photoshopping it first.

Number 3 for sure!!

blkboxster 11-04-2007 11:53 AM

ok, does anybody have a picture of number 3 in there car, so i can get a idea of how it looks like?

thanks

I thought you were dumping the Boxster - what happened?

rick3000 11-04-2007 12:24 PM

I just snapped these a few minutes ago. I have not actually seen to many other boxsters with this kind of shifter.
(And please excuse the mess.)

rick3000 11-04-2007 04:38 PM

I have never understood the whole carbon fiber thing.

ddb 11-04-2007 04:46 PM

IMO there isn't much to understand. Either you like it or you don't. Obviously I like it. It is just like colors or anything else; some are preferable some are not.....

rick3000 11-04-2007 05:23 PM

I look forward to seeing pictures of it when it arrives. I am just wondering, why did you need to buy a new shifter.
