Zaino doesn't mix well with Zymol

Well I just spent 6+ hours detailing the car,I'm damn tired. It should have only been 3-4 MAX but I learned a lesson the hard way. Zymol doesn't mix well at all with Zaino. It went like this

-Wash w/ Simple Green

-Clay bar

-1 layer of Zymol

-1 layer of Zaino

Applying the Zaino over the Zymol was a pain in the a55. It made the Zaino hard to remove, even when I applied tiny amounts. The Zaino would kinda of smeer when I went to buff it off. It turned out well in the end but much more work then it had to be.

I did all this hard work just to take the out in windy weather as soon as I finished. :D I was leaving this restaurant and this new Eclipse pulled up next to me and revved it engine.....wow........ it sounds like a goped.

I'll try to take better pics soon, these are just a preview

I'm relatively new at this kind of thing, but wouldn't you put the Zymol on top of the Zaino rather than the other way around?

Could be the issue.

Z-2 from Zaino SUCKS as a scratch filler so I used Zymol first which really does a better job at filling scratches.

You need to update your sig picture now, cant wait to see the new one. Maybe your should keep the old one too and add an RIP in the corner.

Z-2 is a great product -- but Zaino does not market it to fill/hide scratches.

I used Zaino Z-PC on a random orbit buffer to remove scratches on my Basalt Black. Z-PC is a light polish which is intended for scratch removal.

Z-5 is a better "scratch hider" than Z-2. Consider trying a few coats of Z-5 before using Z-2. Z-2 is designed to be optically superior, but it does not have hiding properties. I used this approach, and I was very impressed by the results.
