Shakes, Rattles, and Roll Bars
 

Well I got all of em. Shakes, Rattles, and Roll Bars.

Alot of creaking going on! Well I just hate rattling. Mostly the screens in the roll bars rattle, what have you guys done to stop this? My windblocker of all things seems to not rattle at all, and I know thats been a sore spot for alot of you. These are my biggest nuisance , what can I do without having to take them out?

2nd. Drivers door rattles while driving, I think they said its the window mechanism or something, Porsche tightened it but it still does it.

3rd. passenger door has weird rattle noise when closing the door but only then.

I would take the passenger door panel cover off(20 minutes max) just to see if you can find out what rattling.

If your windscreens are rattling just remove them,I noticed no change when I take mine out.

I have answer for #1, buy those plush tabs that are sold at stationary stores, they are used to place under table top items to prevent scratching, I placed them on every surface of the screens that touch the metal of the roll bar.

I was a little more permanent with the mesh screens, as I couldn't see any real reason to remove them often, so I used RTV (rubberized caulking) to mount them in place at the tabs... they're not going ANYWHERE now :)
