Head light adjustment

This has been tackled a few times but here we go again.

I know that inside the front truck there are 2 adjustment knobs for the main headlight in each housing.

The question I have this time around is when you are aiming your lights at your wall, fence or whatever. What beam height do you aim for to get that perfect aim??

Any tricks you may have at aiming your lights would be helpful.

Thanks

Hey Gary, I forgot what the measurement is from the floor to the bright spot on the wall should be but its in the manual, Car has to be so far back from the wall and the light should be so high off the ground... Makesure your tire pressures are correct before doing it.

If you want it done "per factory spec" go to the dealer, they have a cool device they use to line up headlights to perfect factory spec. My solution has always been to find a nice long, straight, flat road, go there at 2AM and adjust away until I was happy with the beam pattern. Once you've done this, have a friend drive by your car the other way and make sure you haven't adjusted them too high.
