Has anyone seen the new Special Edition!!
Wow! I was passing through my local P dealer today and this Orange sick looking Boxster S caught my eye. Apparently, it is the new limited/special edition. It had black painted 911 S wheels, a front and rear bumper diffuser and orange and aluminum interior. What a great looking piece. No price on it. There is a limited edition badge on the dash. This one had dove gray interior with all the goodies.
I tend to like muted colors for cars but this one I would buy! Definately worth a trip to you dealer for a look! |
yes...i saw it this past week when I picked up my CPO'd car.
Very sharp. |
They are making 500 of them... 250 regular and 250 'S'.
If you like the orange its not a bad value. In Canada it is around $4000 more then a base 'S' but has over $20,000 worth of options on it. Marc |
My dealer had 2 of them. Both are now sold and gone.

Yep saw one parked outside of the dealership here yesterday, a S version, total sticker price was $67K I believe. Really sweet...love the orange trim accents inside....now this Boxster might actually be worth collecting and might actually hold some its value!
   |
I have seen a few. I like it a lot. But, I don't like the black accents- mirrors, vents and wheels. JMHO.

Looks like the Halloween special :P

Bill,
Now I finally understand why you didn’t buy the SE ;) Nick |
Don't get me wrong it's a NICE car....but it's too much sometimes. I sat in one for about 15 minutes and all I thought was 'wow this car is going to stand out a little too much'. There is too much orange,it's here,it's there,it's everywhere. If I thought it's a little too much after sitting in one for 15 minutes....imagine owning it.(Not dissing anyone who owns one)
