Porsche.com lets you search all of the Porsche dealers in the country.

Try the classified sections on Porsche forums, and other craigslists around your city.

When I was Boxster shopping, I also used autoextra.com, autoTrader.com, cars.com, and thebiglot.com

Yes, I agree. The Porsche web site is excellenat to search cars. You can even do advanced searches to select certain colors.

I suspect you will see higher price$ here too, but, everything is negotiable.

I used AutoTrader to see what was available within various distances and what used cars were going for. Also eBay where some dealers have fairly nice auctions and pics. Some private sellers were good and some not. Agree with the racer_d PCA comment. They tend to be more expensive but more likely well cared for.

I also used the websites of dealers within realistic distance. Some were very helpful - others not so. If the listed all options AND asking price I would come back. No prices listed or color only and they came of my list.

One Florida site said "click here for prices." So I did and some jerk sent me a return e-mail saying "Call me at 1-800-screwyu." Needless to say he got no call.

Just went thru similar treatment with BMW dealers for my wife's X5. BWW dealers were actually worse than Porsche seemingly using the web to get phone numbers.

The other technique I used was to "build" a stable of Boxes on the PCNA site to get a feel for what options I had to have and what was not required.

Blinkwatt,

You could buy mine, and with the money you save, paint the car your color and drop a 3.6 in

Don't try to follow to many sites. Pick a few and keep an eye on them. You will get to see which cars have been there for to long or keep popping up time and time again. Get to know the market and be patient. Shopping is part of the fun!
Good luck!
