Sorry to hear about the total loss Robert. Hope to see you in a boxster soon! Just curious, what was cost of the repairs needed on your car? As others have opined, looking at the pics one wouldn't think they were looking at a totaled car.

Wow, Robert, I can't believe it was a total loss. I'm so sorry. Good luck in your search for a replacement.

Hey! They're calling this Cobalt Blue. Isn't it close to Zenith Blue?

I only wanted you to see the color. Judging by the way the front bumper fits, I think the car has been tagged in the front. Plus, those wheels suck.

Yeah, but it is one of those rare "Porsche Boxster Convertibles." You don't see too many of those around.

Robert - sorry to hear about your loss - I echo the general sentiment here though - am sure you will be riding in something better in no-time.

The break down was something like 69 hours labor(at least), $3.5k in parts just for the body. The current and known damage totaled $12k just from that.

Now the part that took them from repairing to totaling it was a potential transmission and who knows what else replacement. After I started the car after the accident it was like short shift kit clunkyness times 5. It was really weird. Instead of wondering if it was o.k. and taking it all apart they assumed it was messed up the total damage was heading upwards of $22k+.

The pictures HID everything. The trunk buckled BAD,like it kinda bent upwards. The entire rear end of the car shift 1/2 inch to the right,it was bad.

Sorry to hear about the outcome. It sure didn't look that bad in the photos. I hope you find a great one out there.

Bummer, sorry about that!

If you can grab the rear compartment behind the headrests I would be interested in that.

Yes I grabbed the rear compartment with the rear speakers installed. PM me if you want it. It's in great shape.
