Winter Storage Tips
I'm planning on storing my Boxster for winter and would appreciate any tips or adviced about getting the car ready. I'm looking at putting the car away probably mid December and taking it back out after the last snow fall and salt is off the road in March. I'm in New Jersey with summer tires.

do a quick search, there is A LOT OF info on this, very good info. |
Here's what I do:
Change oil and filter Stabil in gas tank Top-off gas Wash, dry, buff, wax Inflate tires to ~60psi Small pieces of plywood under tires Chock wheels Parking Brake OFF Trans in Neutral Battery maintainer (the kind that plugs into cig lighter outlet) Leave windows cracked Cover If it's humid, a couple of bags of silica desicant in cabin If you have rodents, block tail pipe and front grill area with rags or towels |

Tom Blue, read this old post. I did this stuff last year, and my car came out in April like a charm!
