What bumpers fit my car?

What year 996 front bumpers will fit my 2000 boxster S? I wacked some highway debris the other day and now my bumper needs work, so I figure i could do the swap on the cheap. Thankfully it also damaged both headlights so the insurance company will buy those litronics I have been looking at.

You have a ton of choices.

up to 01' 996 c2 bumper, you will have to cut out the center(pre-cut) for your radiator
Any 986 'S' bumper, you need that center opening in the grille for your radiator.
You can also get the Aerokit bumper, which is the gt3 bumper.
Techart,Precision Porsche,Gemballa and many more folks make aftermarket bumpers for your Porsche.

Bumper Relacement

I've the GT3 Aero bumper cap on my 2001 Boxster S ... a straight bolt on(actually 13 screws). BTW, the center section was heated and the block off plate released by the body shop ... no cutting!

i have a similar question. hopefully this isn't a threadjack per se.
thinking about replacing the bumper on my 2000 "S" and have a line on a 2000 non-S bumper. is it possible to cut the hole on the non-s bumper and install the trim piece of the center hole from the S bumper? i'm pretty handy with a dremel. just wondering if there would be nothing to install that trim piece onto, other than the hole.
