Radio says PROTECT?
 

Hi,
Does anyone know what it means when the radio turns on and just says PROTECT on the screen? It won't turn on now. I haven't done anything different from the last time i drove but add a new coat of wax!

I'm guessing, but the radio lost power. You'll need to get your radio code from a dealer to unlock it.

No user radio code on a 2003.

Protect means your car does not recognize the radio and I forget if there is anything you can do.

Thanks guys. I just went out to check it again and it works now. I'll keep an eye on it i guess.
