too true about the big nissan - they DO seem to fade away.
Possible exception being the early 90's twin turbo 300z.
Still a surprisingly fast car that you still have to pay over 10g's
for IF you can find one. If history is any indicator - nissan will throw a turbo or 2 or a supercharger at the 350z about the same time mazda does the same with the rx8. m3's and boxsters will
will be about as exciting as a honda accord then !

nothing and i mean NOTHING will ever improve the hideousness that is the RX-8. Mazda was on crack when they designed and produced that car. I dont think i have ever in my life seen such an ugly "sports" car -- i would have to back to the 78 Vette, but at least that was cool at the time.

Hmmh...to me an old 1987 911 Carrera 3.2 is more exciting than a current 350Z...not sure we have the same understanding of what exciting is :-)
