Porsche TTF font ?
Hello community,
does anybody of you have the Porsche font available ?
I'm talking about the "Boxster" style as it is written on the trunk.
I only found the old "Carrera" style font so far.
Looking forward to hear from you !
Max

I could be all wrong, but the word "boxster" looks very hand made and not take from a standard typeface.
I am a graphic artist by trade and it looks like someone at Porsche got busy with Adobe Illustrator and created it as a unique typeface for that word.

Hi,
you might be right - but you think they individually design all the names, like "Boxster", "Cayenne", or the numbers on the dashboard ?

Hello Mickey Mouse! Thanks for the link ! This is the one I've found so far. Now I'm looking for this script style font which they use for the numbers in the dash-board or on the back of the Porsches like "Carrera GT", "911", "Boxster", "Cayenne", ...
Salut Jeannot, no I'm not member but I was 2-3 times on the circuit with the Porsche Club Geneva. Where do you come from?

Jeannot I was in Dijon (France - former formula 1 circuit), Lurcy Levis (private ex-airfield) and in south of France for a Formula 1 training (I was driving a 7 years old Formula 1 myself :-) - see http://www.agsformule1.com ).
Concerning the font I didn't find anything either. Maybe I'll start to create it based on photos with Fontographer. Because it's real cool...

Boxster font/typeface
Wraith,
I have scanned in a Boxster image in high resolution. I had hoped to be able to get it the easy way, but now I see that I will have to just clean it up in order to be able to use it. That's not a problem, other than the time it takes to smooth out the image I have. Give me some time and it will look great.
