i finally said screw it and did the whole interior
 

i was debating if i want to have a lot of silver inside, but the more and more i did, the better it looked.
im still unsure about the side vents, and the big part around the gauges where the hazard button is.

i was debating about glossy, or leave the textured kinda feel to it, and decided with textured, to eliminate any glare that may ever happen.

heres a pic,
i did the center part around the radio/hvac, 3 lines across the dash, obviously the armrest part, and on the doors i did the lids, c-clip, and part around the actual handle.

Looks great! You may want to look at adding silver panel for the round steering wheel if you like silver interior a lot.

Looks good, DJ. Just curious, why didn't you do the cubbies between the HVAC surround and the console? To me, it flows better if it's all one color.

Looks good, I've got several of my interior parts done in Seal Grey and I think it adds a nice touch. I would like to do the instrument surround but haven't yet. I tell you what looks real nice is to do the defroster strips up top on the dash, and the speakers covers up there and in the door, there is a little glare, but nothing that you can't live with and it looks pretty awesome from the outside looking in.

How did you do the 3 dash strips??? I can't get mine off to replace them.

Also the fuse cover down by your left foot and the ignition rosette would like nice painted as well and would complement the other pieces.

Did you paint your tachometer?

i cant find the article, but those 3 strips are a btch to take off, and better not attempt to take them off, as you will not be able to put them back on.

a 'simple' way to do it is with index cards, just slip them under the strips, and cover anything you don't want painted.

DJ's right, they don't come off easy. I broke all but one of mine, and had to order new ones.

I can see you also painted the frame around the AC and CD, the upper center frame. I have a PCM display instead but I would like to replace my frame with a new one (the one I have currently has a few marks).

I have just ordered a new frame + two smaller frames where the buttons are but I cannot figure out how to replace this. Is it hard ?

Do you know of a guide on how to remove it ? Do I have to take out the double din PCM unit ?

I agree, those 3 horizontal strips are a bear. I removed and replaced mine on Saturday with CF strips. I've been avoiding the installation for months because I knew it would be difficult. I was able to remove 2 out of 3 successfully. I broke the third one out of frustration.

thenavarro, if you still want to remove the 3 strips I can give you some tips. I wouldn't do it again. I would take DJ's advice above.

once you pull the 2 side frames or whatever with the buttons, remove the wires from the buttons and put the frame aside, do the same for the other one.
you will then clearly see how its all held together, i believe there are only 3 screws holding the whole thing in place, then you can pull it out, and disconnect all the wires going to the radio and ac, or whatever else you have mounted up there. if you have AC in there like i do, you need to remove the black plastic case around the whole thing, and its held by 2 screws and these little brackets that just fall out.
