Boxster S transmission oil capacity
 

Hi there. I searched but could not find the answer. What is the capacity for the Boxster S 6-Speed tranmission? I handed my guy 3 quarts of gear oil and when he finished, he handed me back an unopened one. I thought it was closer to 2.5 quarts than 2, but I may be wrong. However, the trans feels notchier now than it did before. Thanks in advance.

3.0 quarts as per the Bentley manual.

Either your mechanic didn't fill it or didn't completely empty the old oil out... good luck.
