I like the Zientop, it's just way to expensive. That 2 tone job looks silly. It looks realy nice when its solid. But not worth removing the rear trunk just to give you the "Cayman" look.

I agree with you 986! Would have loved to have one. That Black S looks awesome!

I agree with, "if you want a Cayman, buy a Cayman", in fact, I have no need for a hardtop... that's why I bought a ragtop. Mine is a daily driver, 70/30 top down.

As far as the two tone, I believe that pic is designed to delineate the top / car for marketing purposes. Also, apparently, you don't lose the trunk, it replaces the existing deck lid with hatch back access to the trunk. That said, the swap appears to be a rather more involved than; lower top > set hard top on > tighten spin locks.

I knew that. I just meant that you have to remove the stock trunk deck lid. With the other aftermarket hardtops, you don't have to do that because the top does not go back as far as the Zientop.

Back to the original post.

Here are a few more "After the paintjob" pictures, which I took yesterday at Laguna Seca

Well, there was a 90 db sound limit at the track yesterday and the sound check station is on the right side of the track.
So the guys who ran the CHP-Boxster had to be "creative" to not get blackflagged due to too loud exhaust noise...
