blkboxster 08-25-2007 05:24 PM

wow, , why would he add that, the car would look amazing without it

Gary in BR 08-25-2007 07:04 PM

wow, alot of time and money went into that car, i think the wing is too much. But i have not seen a wing on a boxster that i like.

But every one (including myself) over mods their car beyond some peoples taste. As long a he loves it then i am fine with it.

Get out and drive.

See the Smart Car across the street? They're coming to America this year. My wife wants me to buy her one. Oooh Boy...

Oh yeah, the wing doesn't look god.

ezeks 08-25-2007 09:28 PM

wow, that car would look great without the wing but again each to their own.

blinkwatt 08-25-2007 09:43 PM

What in the world? Did he mount some aftermarket GT3 spoiler on there?

threpwood 08-25-2007 11:07 PM

the wing was originally from wrx that was sat and half crunched by my fat butt for about a week.

j/k of course :D

J-RAD 08-25-2007 11:22 PM

Horrible in every respect. Why do Porsches continue to attract owners that do this kind of garbage? Poor car.

Chills 08-26-2007 03:13 AM

I like the hood a lot, reminds me of an 80's 911.

The wing looks like crap and probably increases the drag co-effecient enormously.

.

Yeah, I noticed the Smart car, but what kind of car is right in front of it? It's nearly as small as the Smart Car....

Also, it looks like this pic might have been taken at a wheel shop. Notice the wheels mounted up high on the pole? And the fact that every car in the picture (except the white van) has aftermarket wheels?

Where is the picture? I don't see a link either?

RandallNeighbour 08-27-2007 10:22 AM

This car looks like he gave it to the "pimp my ride" TV show. Especially the front bumper. :barf:

ChrisZang 08-27-2007 10:22 AM

Did you ever drive one?

I always take it as a rental when I go to Munich.
Great car, lots of space inside (a friend of mine is 6 1/2 feet and he bough one after he test drove my rental). Can't beat the car for finding parking space in downtown Munich. Yes, it's no Porsche or not a drag racer, but I looove the car.
The only problem are the long shift lags when you put the car in automatic transmission mode, but it's fine if you manual shift it.
