Also to note, I'm a believer that ram air scoops will add a few more hp. Especially because the stock side air vents the bottom 2 vents are blocked off and dont allow any air in, so allowing this portion of air in maybe 20% more air from there, and 20% more from teh actual scoop / sticking out farther, would be essentially 40% more air coming in or roundabouts.

I like the look of the second version, it is flush to the side and does seem to direct air flow into the vent in a way that the stock vent does not. Assuming that style results in better air intake, I wonder why Porsche has not done the same thing...

Actualy there a 2 vendors that make a very similar side vent like that already. One is FVD. Here is an image. It only has one fin/vent instead of 2. So you may be onto a better design.
